Welcome to the Audible Tax Portal

By law, Audible must collect tax information for any person or business that receives payment from us, including both U.S. and non-U.S. partners. This brief interview will guide you through a series of questions to obtain the information required by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and/or the tax authority governing your Audible payments.

Until your tax status is "Complete", your payments will be subject to delay. Create an account and complete the proceeding Tax Interview form in order to establish your tax identity, and if eligible, obtain a reduced rate of withholding tax.

Please note: When you have completed your tax interview, you will be able to enter your banking details using the "Banking info"  option in the portal

  • If you are not prompted to enter a unique security code and this is your first attempt to enter details for this provider, please use a different email address and create a new account for this specific relationship with Audible
  • If you are employed by the business that has the relationship with Audible, do not use your personal Amazon login when signing into the Audible Tax Portal.
  • Please do not email secure tax or banking information. Since we are using Amazon payment systems to disburse payments to you, you must register with an Amazon account and provide all your information via the portal. Secure payments will not be possible without this.
  • Even if you have already taken a tax interview for a payment from another Amazon entity (e.g. Kindle Direct Publishing, Audible Ltd., etc.), you must complete the tax interview for your current Audible relationship.
  • Agents acting as intermediaries for underlying beneficiary owners (UBOs) will be prompted to complete a supplementary form giving details of their UBOs. A valid tax status (and payment) will be pending until this documentation is received and validated. Please read all instructions when completing the interview and refer to the help prompts to the rights of each question.
  • Depending on the Audible entity you have a relationship with and the payment method, you may be prompted to take an additional interview as required by the local tax authorities. A valid tax status (and payment) will be pending until all interviews are completed and validated.
